In addition to its impact resistance, this coating also protects it from all kinds of chemicals that industrial professionals may be exposed to, the most popular being ethanol, bleach, detergent and motor oil. With IP40 certification, the Alcatel-Lucent 8214 phone is protected against solids larger than 1mm, which prevents dust from entering the phone.
