The line buttons are fully programmable, you can set up the line buttons to support either SIP registrations, or call features such as speed dialing. You can boost productivity in your company by handling multiple calls for each SIP registration, using the multiple-calls-per-line appearance feature. Hookswitch can be controlled electronically with a third-party headset connected to the auxiliary port.
Fixed functions buttons on the device give you one-touch access to service, messaging, directory, hold/resume and conference features. A full-duplex speakerphone lets you set up clear multiparty conferences for flexible, productive collaboration.
The Cisco 6851 phone maintains the same user experience as their other phones. With a 3.5-inch grayscale display, the phone is optimized with a white backlight for easy reading. The interface is also created with users in mind, with an easy-to-use traditional telephony-like experience.
