"Which room should we sit in? This question is heard almost every day in the workplace. To avoid running back and forth a few minutes before the start of your meeting, get yourself a room reservation system. This small Electronic screen shows, in real time, the occupancy status of your offices or meeting rooms.

At first glance, it could be confused with the digital version of the old paper screen on the meeting room door. touch screen and its access to the network, it becomes an interactive terminal: you can modify the data displayed or schedule a meeting on the fly, without having to return to your table.

More than a screen at the entrance to each room, this one ! solution integrates a messaging and agenda system (Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Notes, etc.) so that all employees can coordinate their activities. In short, thanks to the digital room reservation system, you will be able to combat ghost meetings and, above all, avoid 2 meetings being organized at the same time.

In short, the touch controller is the tool that allows you to take control of your meetings and collaboration spaces! Much more than a decorative element, this tablet, once placed inside the room, offers a multitude of possibilities:

  • Start or join a meeting.
  • Add participants.
  • Adjust audio and video settings.
  • Share content or mirror a screen (via the Visio software used).
  • Record an exchange.
  • Or create another meeting.

Regarding connections, the touch controller family is divided into 2 types:

  • The "old school" ones: they use a USB cable for the computer/video connection, an HDMI cable to share content and an independent power module.
  • The new generation models: are all Ethernet: they use a single cable for connection to the network, power and association to meetings.

Good to know: The new generation models are dual-use! They can be used both inside the premises (for control) and outside (for reservations).
