The Entel HT700 two way radios exceed MIL Standard 810 C/D/E/F, with a casing that protects it against shock, vibration and moisture. They are rated IP68 resistance to dust and water, making it built to last, even in the most difficult environments. This IP rating means that your Entel HT725 Advanced Signalling is totally submersible to a depth of 1m for up to an hour, and additionally is completely impervious to dust.
This radio comes with a 7.4v 2000mAh Lithium-Ion battery that can count its charge cycles and warn you when it is near the end of its battery life. It provides an impressive battery life and retains its charge once charged up to three times longer than other batteries. This battery is rechargeable, however charging units are sold separately.
The Entel HT725 is easy to use, with scan/priority scan functions, VOX hands-free and a programmable channel monitor button as standard. It also features 4 'channel shortcut' buttons and a Local Personal Attack Alarm for your safety. For additional protection, Lone Worker and Man Down functions are both offered by this radio. It additionally supports a shunting mode (for rail companies), Whisper mode for enhanced voice detection when communicating quietly, and is capable of sending status messages.
The Entel HT725 Advanced Signalling supports 2/5 tone selective calling, to carefully choose who receives your calls. You also have the option of calling groups or individuals, or all radios at once. It offers multiple ringtones, a low battery warning and a programmable scrambler.
For extra security, the Stun function allows you to render a radio inactive if it is lost or stolen, and revive it again if found. To enhance security, this radio request a password when it is switched on, if appropriate.

Trees, walls, hills and even the weather can affect the range of your two-way radio.
