Epos' long-standing partnership with Microsoft, the world leader in unified communications (UC), means that the company now offers a Microsoft Teams Rooms certified intelligent collaboration system. This certification offers all Microsoft room owners fast access to all application features and simplified management of virtual conferences. As a wired solution, the EPOS speakerphone connects via USB to your PC, Mac, or any other collaboration device with a USB connection port, so you can use it according to your preferences.

This superior audio quality includes an integrated array of 7 Omni-directional MEMS digital microphones that provide 360° sound coverage so that everything you say comes through naturally to your audience. The powerful neodymium speaker allows you to transmit your collaborators' words in high definition from a distance while attenuating stray echoes. For even greater sound comfort, the EPOS EXPAND Capture 5 speaker features a Kvadrat fabric cover, ideal for absorbing sound resonance and eliminating noise peaks, as well as a mute function, so you can instantly mute the microphone with a single touch.

Intelligent software 

As an intelligent system, the EXPAND speaker is equipped with the most powerful sound technologies to maximize the quality of your remote communication. These include EPOS Voice technology, which emphasizes clear and natural listening through automatic beamforming, and the advanced voice recognition system, which can now identify and record up to 10 different voices. The live voice transcription system works in conjunction with the voice recognition system mentioned above. Once individual voices have been identified, they can be transcribed live during a meeting so that it is clear to each participant who has said what throughout the conference.
