Compact and lightweight design

It can be used with both your computer and your landline phone if the landline phone has a USB socket to connect the device. The USB-C connectivity of the product ensures quick and easy installation without any technical setup, no matter how you choose to use it:

• Scenario 1: For use in the office, remote working or in a meeting room, simply connect the charging station to your computer via USB and it's ready to go. If you want to use it in wireless mode, simply plug in the included DECT dongle into the charging cradle and you're ready.
• Scenario 2: If you are a mobile worker who travels often, you can use it without the base station simply by connecting the DECT dongle to your laptop via USB.

From loudspeaker to headset mode with a gesture

The proximity sensor is able to automatically detect the audio mode to be used. This means that as soon as you place the product against your ear, the Gigaset ION automatically switches from loudspeaker mode to headset mode. This smart technology eliminates the hassle of changing modes and gives you the freedom to choose the type of listening experience you want.

Updates and personalisation

Lastly, the Gigaset ION has configuration software to install on your computer that allows you to schedule updates to your computer and define or change certain settings for this audio product. It is available for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux.
