Hi there I have just gone over to full fibre broadband and phone but am having issues with my analogue phone and the ATA. My question is what phone would be ideal for home? Has to be cordless and answerphone if this is available. I can’t make sense of the jargon. Also are these phones plug and play or do they need setting up.
Best start is to talk to your internet provider to check which options they recommend. Some providers only let you use hardware bought from them, some let you use certain brands or specific models. If they allow you to purchase elsewhere we can recommend different options, they will still need to program the phone so it works on their network. As for voice mail, normally is a service provided by them.
