I would like to use the radios for two way communication between two motorcycle rides, does the vox function work with the ear piece micro phone connected

Hello Nigel,
Personally I wouldn´t go with the Midland option, our clients have had more success with the Motorola T82 extreme in these cases. We also have packs that include Motorcycle helmet mics for either open face or closed face helmets
Both of these have handlebar mounted PTT button (clutch side) which is more reliable than VOX as VOX tends to be triggered by wind noise.
