Before you can install an IP phone on your home router you need to have a working VoIP service, could be that your internet provider can offer you one or you might hire a different company, at Onedirect we work with Megacall. Once you have a service provider you need to check with them which brand they prefer to work with and at that point you can purchase the phone that will be suitable for you and your service provider.
