Product description

Introducing the Mitex General DMR Digital Two-Way Radio – a versatile, user-friendly communication solution designed for seamless adaptability.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this fully functional Digital DMR tier II/Analogue switchable unit boasts up to 5-watt power output on UHF. The General DMR excels in power, durability, and a compact design, ensuring clear and reliable communication in challenging environments, whether in Digital or Analogue modes.

Your choice, your control: easily switch between analogue or digital mode.

Equipped with 16 pre-programmed channels in both analogue and Digital DMR mode, the Mitex DMR is ready for immediate use, requiring no setup and minimal user training. With compatibility across the Mitex range, including General, General Xtreme, Security, Site HD, PRO UHF, and Mitex Mobi mobile radio in Analogue Mode, as well as the capability to be programmed for Motorola and/or Hytera units, the General DMR offers unparalleled versatility. Common channels 13, 14, and 15 enhance compatibility across all analogue Mitex UHF hand portables.

For effective communication in any scenario.

Featuring a scan function on Channel 16, the General DMR proves to be a valuable communication tool suitable for various applications, from recreational activities like hiking, cycling, and motorsports to professional use in business, schools, shops, and warehouses. It serves as an ideal upgrade for PMR446 and 449 Analogue users seeking to transition to a more secure Digital DMR platform or integrate with an existing digital fleet.

In Analogue mode, the General DMR seamlessly communicates with standard General and General Xtreme units on all channels, all covered under the same UK Simple Light license. This makes it a perfect solution for those prioritizing enhanced security without compromising compatibility with existing Generals and General Xtremes. Additionally, users can continue to utilize their existing Mitex Headsets and Antennas with the General DMR, and a new Six Way Charger is also available for added convenience.

*The maximum range given by manufacturers is based on ideal conditions, such as from hilltop to hilltop, but the range you actually get will be much less if you are in a built-up area. Trees, walls, hills and even the weather can affect the range of your two-way radio. The rule of thumb is that for every 1 watt you will get 1 mile of coverage guarantee, or more depending on the conditions.
