Philips has designed Speech One - the first professional dictation headset. It allows wireless, hands-free recording of information. Its built-in microphone ensures studio quality with accurate speech recognition and transcription, even in noisy environments such as outdoors. Recordings are exceptionally clear, the headset is specially designed for dictation and features a triple-layer noise filter.

Wireless charging

The headphones can be charged wirelessly via the included induction docking station, simply by placing the headphones in their magnetic slot. The headphones have a 12-hour battery life, allowing users to work for a full day. The docking station allows for lossless audio transmission up to 5 metres.

Ideal fit

The innovative design offers an ideal fit. Its ergonomic and modern design provides the user with exceptional comfort. With a single earcup, the arm can rotate 360° so you can choose whether you prefer to wear the earcup on the right or left side. An adjustable, magnetic temporary cushion at the top of the ear cups adds further comfort: the ear cups are no longer in contact with the ear, which is ideal for people who wear the ear cups for very long periods of time.

Committed to hygiene

For shared use with a co-worker, the pad and temporary holder has a magnet that is interchangeable: work with your personal pad to promote hygiene. The housing is made of antimicrobial synthetic material, which fights a wide range of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and algae, making it ideal for use in strict environments such as hospitals, clinics and doctors' surgeries.

Remote control: compatible with Skype and recording software

The headset and station also come with an ergonomic remote control to control the various recording applications. The buttons are infinitely configurable and can be customised for each user and use.

To ensure your peace of mind and concentration while dictating, this package includes a busy lamp to inform your colleagues of your availability with the colours green (available) and red (unavailable). The light, connected to the headset, automatically turns red when you are recording or making a call. You can also manually change its status if necessary. The light is magnetic and tiltable.

Philips Pro Dictate software is ideal to complement the Speech One headset and its remote control, allowing you to transcribe your dictations quickly and easily. It is ideal for medical and legal applications, professional note-taking and studying. The headset, compatible with Skype For Business, allows you to make calls in crystal-clear audio quality without the need for any additional configuration. You have the ability to receive or reject calls directly through the docking station and the headset.
