The Sennheiser SDW 5016 DECT headset is one of the novelties in the Sennheiser series. The SDW 5016 from Sennheiser can be connected to desktop phones, PC / softphones, smartphones and tablets. The included USB BTD 800 Bluetooth dongle is integrated directly into the base station for Bluetooth connectivity. It can be easily removed and via the free USB port of the base station it is then possible to connect a Sennheiser headset with USB port, e.g. for conferences or telephone training.

The high-quality Sennheiser SDW 5016 offers a choice of three wearing styles to suit all user preferences: overhead, ear and neckband for a perfect individual fit. Modern office workers need mobility in the office and the ability to hold collaborative meetings.

The Sennheiser SDW 5000 series offers a host of intelligent features to promote collaboration and communication. Smart controls on the headset and base station make call management easy. The Busylight on the headset helps users avoid being disturbed during calls and conferences, as other office staff can easily recognise that the user is on a call at that moment. As the Sennheiser SDW 5016 is Skype synchronised, it is possible to show other employees or Skype contacts that the user is available. The Sennheiser SDW 5016 is also UC-optimised and certified for Skype for Business.

With the Sennheiser HeadSetup Pro Manager software, IT managers can control all Sennheiser devices and manage and update configurations from one location.
