I like this adaptor. It works well and is reasonably priced. Grandstream is an American company but the device is manufactured in China. The web interface, particularly when accessed by https, is slow and clunky. It has a particularly annoying habit of asking you if you want to update the admin password stored in your keychain every time you log on and then overwriting it with garbage if you accidentally click 'okay' instead of 'not now'. I find the three high-brightness blue LEDs annoying, you'll want to cover these with black tape if you have the HT801 in your eye-line or a bedroom.
The phone outlet is American RJ11 socket. If you are in the UK you will also need an RJ11-BT adaptor (not included) and if your phones are more than about 10 years old you'll need to get an adaptor that incorporates a 'ringer capacitor' or incoming calls won't make them ring.
Configuration is not for the faint hearted; there are hundreds of settings to mess with and important ones (e.g. related to security) are buried in dozens of trivial ones. Unless you are a serious VoIP geek, make sure that your VoIP provider / ISP supports this model and can give precise setup instructions or you're going to have to spend a lot of time with Google and specialist forums. If you don't understand how to secure your VoIP phone and account get support from someone who knows what they are doing.

Looks good, connects automatically to the router. Still need to set up the VoIP user.

Product arrived on time as promised. It was easy to install and is a working fine. It’s small which is good as doesn’t take up much space on desk. The online form to activate it was a bit complicated for a novice but our VoIP provider helped with that.

Did the job of moving my phone from traditional copper to fibre VOIP, so I can keep my old phone no. cheaply for the few people who still call it instead of the mobile.
Came in a white box with no instructions, but these are available online.
There are 100s of configuration options, but I just had to set about 10 for my needs. Worked first time after no. ported.
