The Icom IC-F3002 is easy to use, no training is required. It has a rugged and compact design, and large key sizes to prevent accidental key presses even when wearing gloves. It meets the IP54 water and dust protection standard, and to top it off, it also meets 11 categories of MIL-810STD standards - it's tough!

VOX function: hands-free

Includes VOX function for hands-free operation. An optional compatible headset can be used with the radio with the OPC-2004 adapter cable.

Powerful audio with 1500 mW loudspeaker

It incorporates a powerful BTL-type audio amplifier delivering 1500 mW and a large 45 mm speaker, which delivers powerful and readable audio even in noisy environments. A high-efficiency transistor is installed to reduce power consumption. In addition, 2-Tone and 5-Tone signalling allows you to make selective calls, silent standby and more programmable functions. The radio "stun" function disables a radio on the air and the "revive" function restores the operation of a "stunned" radio.
